Staci J. Magee grew up in Southern New Jersey. She earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and her master's degree in reading at Towson University in Towson, Maryland.

Staci lives with her husband of twenty-eight years and their two adorable dogs just outside of Baltimore. She is the proud mother of three adult daughters who have brought her so much joy over the years!

Staci currently teaches second grade and is thrilled to add "children's book author" to her resume. Staci hopes this story inspires her readers to slow down and enjoy all the simple pleasures in life!
